This development is situated near the historical village of Stockbridge, Hampshire, close to the neighbouring city of Winchester. Boasting breath-taking views of the surrounding vistas, Marsh Court Farm consists of three luxury four-bedroom houses, each with its own double garage.
The three properties are constructed using three different coloured handmade bricks and a Flemish Garden wall bond instead of a more typical stretcher bond. This adds to the luxury of the buildings and gives them a more unique and timeless aesthetic. The roof tiles are also handcrafted to ensure the highest level of quality possible. These details are what make our houses blend seamlessly with the existing listed barns in the neighbourhood.
Of course, the crowning glory of all three properties are the spectacular views, with the splendor of the Hampshire countryside sprawling out for miles in every direction.
At Kingswell Buildings Ltd, we are committed to offering environmentally sound building solutions wherever possible. That is why the Marsh Court Farm development is low-energy and gets 100% of its energy from renewable resources.
Additionally, to increase the biodiversity of the properties and preserve the surrounding wildlife, a selection of the bricks used in construction have purpose-built holes leading to habitat boxes for bats, different varieties of tits, sparrows, and starlings. There will also be a butterfly meadow installed on the grounds to provide a beautiful natural habitat for the incredible wildlife of the area.
Certain design features of these homes are inspired by the work of British architect Edwin Lutyens. The attention to detail, such as the crosses in the brickwork and the creasing tiles above & below the windows are indicative of this unique and historical style. Lutyens designed Marsh Court and the neighbouring listed barns, so particular care has been taken to continue these aesthetic and architectural traditions.
